This process involves identifying personal values, setting relationship standards, and recognizing patterns that may hinder growth. It means learning how to set boundaries, practice emotional intelligence, and embrace patience as a virtue in building meaningful connections.
Before stepping into a meaningful relationship, cultivating personal stability is essential. Personal development is not just about preparing for companionship—it’s about becoming a whole, confident individual with a strong sense of purpose, identity, and emotional resilience. A stable foundation allows singles to approach relationships from a place of security rather than need, fostering connections that are intentional, healthy, and fulfilling.
Self-Awareness & Identity
Understanding who you are—your values, strengths, and growth areas—is vital. When singles cultivate self-awareness, they make choices that align with their purpose and avoid settling for relationships that don’t nurture their growth.

Turning the pages of life after divorce.
Mastering Self-Love After Divorce: Embracing Your Journey to Healing and Happiness
Going through a divorce can be an incredibly challenging and emotionally draining experience. It's a time of immense change and transition, where you may find yourself questioning your self-worth and struggling to rebuild your life. However, it's important to remember that divorce is not the end of your story; it's an opportunity for growth, self-discovery, and ultimately, mastering self-love.
Mastering self-love after divorce is about learning to embrace your journey and prioritize your own well-being. It's about recognizing that your worth does not come from your relationship status, but from within. Here are some key steps to guide you on your path to healing and happiness:
1. Give yourself time to grieve: Divorce is a significant loss, and it's essential to allow yourself to grieve the end of your marriage. Give yourself permission to feel the emotions that arise and seek support from friends, family, or a therapist who can provide a safe space for you to process your feelings.
2. Practice self-care: Prioritize your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Engage in activities that bring you joy, whether it's taking up a new hobby, going for walks in nature, practicing mindfulness, or indulging in self-care rituals. Taking care of yourself will help you rebuild your self-esteem and create a strong foundation for self-love.
3. Reflect and learn: Take the time to reflect on the lessons learned from your marriage and divorce. What patterns or behaviors contributed to the breakdown of your relationship? Use this opportunity to gain insights into yourself and make positive changes that will support healthy relationships in the future.
4. Let go of the past: Holding onto resentment, anger, or regret will only hinder your ability to move forward. Forgiveness, both towards yourself and your ex-partner, is a powerful tool for healing. By letting go of the past, you free yourself to embrace new possibilities and create a brighter future.
5. Surround yourself with support: Seek out a community of individuals who have gone through similar experiences. Join support groups, attend therapy sessions, or connect with others online who can provide empathy, understanding, and guidance. Having a support system will remind you that you are not alone on this journey.
6. Rediscover yourself: Use this time of transition to reconnect with your passions, interests, and goals. Explore new hobbies, take up new challenges, and invest in personal growth. Reconnecting with yourself and your own desires will help you build a strong sense of self-love and purpose.
7. Practice self-compassion: Be kind and gentle with yourself throughout this process. Remember that healing takes time, and there will be ups and downs along the way. Treat yourself with the same love, care, and understanding you would offer to a close friend.
Mastering self-love after divorce is an ongoing journey, and it's important to be patient with yourself. As you navigate through the healing process, remember that you are deserving of love, happiness, and a fulfilled life. Embrace the opportunity for growth, and with time and self-compassion, you will emerge stronger, wiser, and ready to embrace a new chapter filled with self-love and happiness.

My recommendation is to assess your needs by scheduling a 30 minute consult before choosing sessions. This helps the client get a feel of my teaching style and to hear my rhythm and sound to make sure that it agrees with your spirit.
After making your selection of sessions according to budget and need, I also recommend bi-weekly sessions to balance our time together and home life. Most sessions will consist of activities while we are away to build, strengthen and challenge your area of weakness.

Self Love & Acceptance
Do you struggle with self-love?
Mastering Self-Love and Acceptance
It’s something that we’ve all struggled with at some point in time from my poor self-image to feelings of being rejected by others.
Here recently, I realized that there are different levels to Self Love - and one thing that I personally have been struggling with recently is self-acceptance.
It can be hard to accept ourselves fully when we know the mistakes we've made, the decisions we've made and even when we look at our lives and where we are.
It can be hard to accept ourselves when we know the things we have struggled with and may continue to struggle through.
One thing that I have realized is that self acceptance is about accepting ourselves where we are right now knowing that we are still evolving… we all are on our own individual journeys throughout this life and we are in the process of becoming…..
just like the caterpillar goes through its transition to become a butterfly… we too are on that journey.
Without self acceptance it's hard to come out of the cocoon, we often can get stuck in the past and stay stuck in our current state so long that it becomes our “identity” and we never fully blossom.
What I’ve learned on this journey of self acceptance, is that “nothing stays the same”.
For Christmas this year I received one of the greatest gifts from a wonderful friend that helped to put many of my racing thoughts into perspective. A Journal 📓
As I begin to journal my first thoughts, I immediately realized that “I’ve changed”. I noticed that not one word that was journaled was a negative reflection. It was though… I got the message. The message that nothing stays the same… not even me.
Learning how to celebrate oneself is crucial to moving forward while laughing and smiling through the journey.
There were 3 things that I learned most about myself. One, I can accomplish anything that I set my mind to do, two, I needed help to process through the most challenging stages of life, mostly things that I had no place of reference to. Third, waiting…. Waiting for understanding about who I really am and what I’m capable of accomplishing was a true game changer.
The truth is we often look at all of our accomplishments, the things that we are proud of, our strengths, weaknesses/areas of improvement, skills, positive attributes and make a general statement about ourselves that may or may not be the total truth.
Lastly, we list out our past mistakes - things we haven't accomplished, forgiven ourselves for and sometimes the stories from others that we hear and fail to ask the proper question, “ what did I learn from this?" "How can I become a better person because of this?" while forgiving ourselves and making a decision to move forward seeking God's will for our life.
Well… It’s time to celebrate and move forward with a new narrative in life.
I call it “turn the page” and let’s finish the story.
I’d like to share my story and help you to move forward and see what else is possible as you discover the greatest version of self.
Stay tuned for group sessions that are offered from time to time. Feel free to speak to Coach Marilyn about multiple sessions as needed.

Session 1. Self-Awareness & Identity
Understanding who you are—your values, strengths, and growth areas—is vital. When singles cultivate self-awareness, they make choices that align with their purpose and avoid settling for relationships that don’t nurture their growth.
Session 2. Emotional & Mental Stability
Emotional intelligence and mental well-being play a key role in personal and relational success. Developing emotional resilience helps singles navigate life’s challenges, process past experiences, and enter relationships with emotional maturity.
Session 3. Confidence & Purpose
Confidence comes from knowing your worth and living with intention. Singles who pursue their passions, build meaningful relationships outside of romance, and engage in personal growth activities create a fulfilling life—not one dependent on relationship status.
Session 4. Healthy Relationship Standards
A strong personal foundation allows singles to set healthy boundaries, recognize red flags, and choose partners who complement their values rather than fill voids. Stability prevents unhealthy attachment patterns and fosters mutual respect in future relationships.
Session 5. Faith & Spiritual Growth
Grounding oneself in spiritual principles provides guidance in decision-making and relationships. It strengthens values, offers wisdom in navigating singleness, and cultivates trust in divine timing rather than forcing connections prematurely.
Session 6: Preparation for the Future**: Whether embracing singleness or preparing for marriage, building a stable foundation sets the stage for lifelong fulfillment. Growth in areas like communication, financial stability, and emotional intelligence impacts future relationships and leadership.
Session 7: Empowerment & Independence: A well-developed sense of self enables singles to thrive in their personal journey, finding joy and fulfillment without relying on external validation.

Schedule your private 90 minute couples accountability session with Marilyn to help redirect your thoughts and gain strategies to build lasting results.
Our first 10 minutes will be a check in time to review results and push through or revise processes. We will also look into areas that may cause stagnation and components that may be causing weights in your life.
Couples services are also available in eight and twelve session increments, depending on the couples needs. I like to start couples sessions together with both on our first visit, our second visit will be individual and the remaining sessions will be joint with couple activities to relax the heart and mind.
My recommendation is that after our first session if you would like to continue, please plan to schedule an assessment call shortly after our first meeting to help your coach identify your target needs.
Most sessions will consist of activities while we are away to build, strengthen and challenge your area of weakness.
Scheduling is at the clients discretion and available times can be managed by visiting my calendar.

I was very well pleased with the overall consultation. Mrs Marilyn showed great interest regarding my issues & concerns—has great listenimg/communication skills...also gave me awesome key nuggets on the steps she felt I needed to take in order to find myself first, write down thoughts, plans/goals, put a “pin” in the things that’s not priority & stay focused! I’m looking forward to our coaching sessions soon...
